You can download free and premium wordpress themes but I always suggest to buy premium WordPress themes to build a professional website because in free themes most of the WordPress plugin won’t support.

WordPress Themes Installation Process

once you purchase the domain name and hosting, you will get login id and password in your registered email id for WordPress.

Step1: Login to your WordPress website by giving your username and password

Once you purchase a domain and hosting, you will get WordPress login details in your registered email id and you can see wp-login details on Cpanel dashboard from where you have purchased a hosting.

For example, WordPress website Login URL:   www.homeservices.in/wp-admin/

Step:2 Go to appearance and click Themes

Step: 3 Pre Installed WordPress Themes

Here you can see lots of installed themes are available in your application. To add new theme click add new button either use the search field.

 

Step: 4 Click feature filter and then click apply filters

Step: 6: Select the best themes to install for your website

Here you can see lots of free themes are available, select the best themes which you want to install for your website and click the install button. WordPress will automatically installed the themes.

Step: 7 click the activate button to installed the themes

 

Step: 8 Click customize the themes

Now your WordPress themes are installed properly. You can check your website URL in Google.

 

How to install WordPress theme from zip files

All premium WordPress themes provide zip format for installation of WordPress website and many free themes are not available on WordPress dashboard so that you can download free exact WordPress theme from website

Step:1 Download free themes & premium themes Zip. Format

Download free themes from websites like www.wordpress.org/themes. or www.ahthemes.com. Download the theme file in zip. format to install WordPress theme like demo

Step: 2 Save download files In your System

Step: 3 Go to dashboard click Appearance—>  Themes—> click Upload themes.

You can easily upload zip files by clicking upload theme

 

Step: 4  Install wordpress theme from zip file

Click the browse button and select the theme from your computer and click install now button

Step 5: Click the activate button to activate a theme

Once you click to activate, your website would be live and you can customize your themes manually so that you can upload images and content also.

No, you cannot upload WordPress themes on wordpress.com. because wordpress.com and wordpress.org both are different. WordPress.com is free services provide by WordPress. You can upload themes file through Filezilla and your cpanel provide FTP access.
